The Socialization Group is offered to children 3-6 years old who have challenges in social interactions. The group, consisting of 8 children and 2 group leaders, meets once a week for 1 1/2 hours for an 8-10 week series. Through small and large group play activities, the group leaders offer support in social interactions. They encourage children to identify the feelings that arise in social situations. The leaders help children understand the consequences of problematic behavior in interactions so that they can be successful in all social situations. The group is offered Mondays 3:30-5:00pm.
