Childcare & Education
Combining the latest innovative educational and therapeutic methods, JCFS Childcare and Education Services aim to enhance each child’s ability to communicate and learn effectively, in addition to building each child’s sense of independence. Our highly trained staff including speech pathologists, occupational therapists, teachers and social workers collaborate to ensure that each child is receiving the most integrated and comprehensive treatment possible.
Counseling & Support
Jewish Child & Family Services’ Counseling and Support programs are designed to help children, teens, adults, couples and families reach their fullest potential. Through careful assessment and application of theory and evidence based practices, this array of services provides compassionate care to clients with mental health concerns or those struggling with life transitions.
People with Disabilities
Recognizing the diverse requirements of children, adults and families who have an array of disabilities, JCFS responds with a range of services to meet their unique needs. Our programs consider the broad impact of a disability on the family and offer such services as residential care, professional consultation, developmental play groups, assessment, social and education programs, respite, counseling and specialized camp experiences.
Residential & Child Welfare Services
JCFS is committed to providing short-term relief, residential support, permanent housing and substitute parenting for children, teens and adults. Our residential and foster homes provide round-the-clock care for young adults in crisis and adults with disabilities. Child and teen victims of abuse and neglect receive comfort and care in our foster or group homes or through our intensive assessment and treatment program.
Support for Communities
Through a variety of services, JCFS promotes awareness and offers support and education for emotional, psychological and developmental issues among community members. We also provide clinical conferences and training programs for health professionals and students and expert social work and administrative consultation to organizations.
