Beyond providing the best possible care to underserved populations, Jewish Child and Family Services is unique as a social service agency in its commitment to promoting quality care on a larger scale through evaluation, best practice and education. Throughout the agency, these efforts are organized and supported through the Center for Practice Excellence (CPE). The Center strategically enhances and links evaluation, education and practice efforts within JCFS as a means of continuously improving service delivery to at-risk populations. Key components include:
- Practice Incubator
- Training Institute (clinical and management/leadership)
The CPE has a dual role. It is the vehicle for promising practices to be imported, tested and disseminated. It is also the means through which expertise is exported through publications, conferences, consultation, and training.
